I remember discovering Cyberpunk literature at a young age, and while some of it was quite good, I don’t think I ever once thought that it would be cool to live in that kind of dystopian environment.

Wonder Woman is one of DC’s Big Three...and the most famous female superhero on Earth. Yet, all we’ve gotten is a 70s TV show and two movies.

I’m inclined to believe her, although that certainly doesn’t mean he was sincere when they spoke about the future of WW. Just sounds like the kind of pacifying crap Gunn would probably tell a woman just to keep her interested and hopeful. Or anyone working for him, for that matter.

The guy looked so much like him I a) knew who he was the instant he appeared on screen and b) I thought there was a fair chance he was actually a descendant — Doohan’s actual son has appeared as Scotty in a fan film series but would be too old himself now for this.

I love Liam Cunningham, he was one of the few to escape the last season of Game of Thrones unscathed.  Always happy when he shows up, very charismatic.

I suspected Batel would be a goner the moment she mentioned a priority one mission interrupting her vacation plans with Pike. It had a very, “After 20 years on the force, I’m retiring on Friday! Gonna fire up the boat and go down to Mexico to enjoy some quality time with my wife!” feel to it. 

It remains a surprisingly frightening part of the book more than a century later. 

This is a really cool part of the book and I’m looking forward to this.
