FWIW, There isn’t a single major studio head that makes less than 200x the average of their respective employees. And, as CEOs, they need to realize that their job is actually the easiest to replace with AI.

There was a Guardian article that tallied up all the wage increases being requested, and it came up to like $500 million. Compared to over $200 billion in profit across the industry, that equates to half a percent. That’s all the hit in profits they’d need to take in order to end the strikes.

Political bias and a healthy does of brain drain at Twitter/X likely got them in this situation. I’m picturing Musk asking whatever yes-men he has left in his legal department to do this. 

Bram Stoker’s Dracula was in no way better than Let the Right One In, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, Shadow of the Vampire, or Interview with the Vampire. It’s certainly not as terrible as critics of the day made it out to be, but I feel confident saying it’s not even close to the greatest vampire movie of all time.

What I loved about ‘Let The Right One In’ being so beautifully visual was not needing to read the subtitles to understand the characters.

Finally, something for people who are interested in Megan Fox but uninterested in looking at her.

“ablative material”  is DESIGNED to come off.  The hot material flakes away taking the heat with it.  It probably ablated MORE than they expected but that’s not how it reads to me.

I don’t love the animation style, and it seemed a weird choice for me that Chris Parnell is... Deathstroke?! But I gotta say... I never really realized how well-suited Chris Parnell’s voice was to playing an anime villain. Really kinda works.

After watching the first three episodes on Max, I realized that this is the kind of Superman dynamic that has been sorely lacking since Superman II. I find myself smiling through every episode.
