Can’t you just go to Phone -> Recents and then tap the “i” on the FaceTime video/audio call and see how much data was used?

You overestimate Apple engineers.

I’m not aware of any evidence that organic or Mexican veggies are more likely to be contaminated. Chipotle’s problem was (a) norovirus, which is an unwashed hands kind of thing, and (b) possibly related to having multiple small suppliers that they didn’t track well.

Most US megamarts I’ve been to have at least iceberg, green leaf, red leaf, and romaine. And even if all you can get is iceberg, it might be worth it just to have an iceberg salad rather than risk food-borne illness.

That only really works as a solution if you live somewhere that offers a large variety of produce, particularly leafy greens, outside of a bag. Unless you’re looking for a head of iceberg lettuce, I don’t think it’s as common as people want to believe it is.

Yeeeah, sure. Haha. I’m terrible in the kitchen, so I’ve always used whatever rice is on hand. But then my parents visited recently and were like, you’re doing it wrong, you have to use Jasmine rice.

I go with short grain for Japanese, whether sushi or otherwise. Coming from a Japanese household, I can’t imagine using it for anything else.

hahahahaha

I always want to smack their hands and yell.... NO!

My God... how many times I’ve said that “don’t touch anything till I get there”... and then I get there and everything is far more fucked than when I left... because they can’t help but keep touching.

“I spent the next hour bending the pins straight again”

Hey, you could turn that into a business. I’d pay you to call the phone company for me to change some service features. I’ve been meaning to do it for, oh I don’t know, at least 3 years.

Even worse, my wife makes me be the one to take advantage of the ungodly long return period for the whole family.

You’re allowed to bring it, but typical airline policy does not allow you to consume your purchased alcohol. This is a way to 1. keep people from over-drinking. 2. Prevent underage drinking. and 3. Profit off alcohol sales!

Agreed and agreed!

haha, I had a friend who’s dad worked for Coke and it was the same thing

The father of one of my best friends growing up was a Frito Lay route driver. They never bought chips, snacks, Grandmas cookies, etc, his Dad just brought some of the “after date” stuff he had to rotate out of stores. Always tasted pretty good to me.

I’ve had milk last more than a month past expiration. Thankfully dairy is pretty obvious, if not terrifically pleasant when it’s gone by.

We’ve turned part of our garage into our own private gym. I like waking up, going to workout, and having time to check email and whatnot before getting read for work. It really works well for me, as I have some sort of weird anxiety about working out around other people.
