I realize it’s probably a matter of personal taste, but that looks like an uncomfortable and cheap plastic chair. Surely a workspace this nice looking would deserve something better?

One day, I’ll get to work as/on something that would deserve a workplace so awesome.

Absolutely. The G2 07, purple ink being the preference. Lightweight, smooth line, inexpensive. My go-to favorite.

There is one missing.

I always set my thermostat to constant fan when I'm in a hotel. The white noise drowns out some of the other noises.

The thing that always effects my sleep, especially in US hotels is the dryness of the room. The last few years I will soak a towel in the sink, wring it out and hang it over a chair next to the bed, it seems to add enough moisture to help me sleep. Not sure what the hotel thinks of it though.

For good measure, I took the another bath towel, rolled it up and laid it on the floor behind the door, ensuring no light would sneak in.

“When I win the lottery though, I’ll have a Cadillac CT6 parked in my garage.”

That is messed up. wth.

A few years back, I had a can of soda with my name written on the side go missing from the community fridge (I was trying to get it cool). I was bummed that it went missing but didn’t make a big deal about it. It was just a can of soda after all. A few days later the empty can appeared on my desk with a note sticking

Look at it this way. It’s teaching you the skills to survive in corporate America

Errr....it took me 4 minutes prep time and 25 baking time prep time to make 2 pounds of lasagna. Making stuffing for 10 people takes me 25 minutes, since there are a lot of seasoning and you have to hand-mold all 20 stuffing balls. Those are large meals for an entire family.

Storing the food? You don’t have a fridge?

I eat leftovers, which could be anything - pasta, pizza, mexican food, pot roast, whatever - and then I eat frozen meals. The frozen meals, I usually get Amy’s, Luvo, or Evol brand, and I try to go for ones that are high in protein and fiber. I eat the Amy’s frozen brown rice, veggies and tofu bowl and the Evol beef

When my daughter was in high school, she and her friends would dine out more often than me and her father. Not just Chipotle and Chick-Fil-A, but also Thai food, sushi, etc. It was quite apparent that she didn’t understand the financial cost of her actions. So when she moved into an apartment in her sophomore year of

I consider 2 grand to be a lot of money, personally. And it’s not an unreasonable estimate for people who eat out every day. I try to pack at least 3 days a week, and when I do, I cap the cost of my packed lunches at around $3-$4 each but it can easily be even less than that if I’m eating leftovers.

But then you can take the savings and go out to meet them on weekends. Or you could take your lunch to the park.

I cannot seem to get my around-minimum-wage-job twentysomething-sons to agree with me on this. Work 8 hours and go out for lunch — there goes 2 hours of take-home pay.
