Pretty much every single article I’ve ever read that whines about how “no one votes these days” completely fails to mention that this is the desired outcome of decades of legislation specifically designed to make voting inconvenient and expensive. Nope, it’s just those damn lazy Millennials!!!!

He wasn’t out on the campaign trail talking about immigrants from European nations. He used a broad brush to paint Hispanics as bad people here causing crime and taking jobs these people don’t want…

I am finding myself increasingly unconvinced by whines about violations of the first amendment. Lots of other countries which are perfectly lovely to live in seem to manage without this absolutist idea that any and every bullshit idea even those that endanger minorities, should be respected and allowed to spew.

Nobody who watched this in 01 would have guessed ScarJo would go on to become the huge megastar. Thora Birch absolutely killed it and I’ll never get over her crazy stage dad killing her career.

It’s not like an arena employee killed her. It’s not like they intentionally decided to provide less security. it’s not like they received a credible threat and decided they didn’t care. The arena didn’t “cause” this in any reasonable form.
