I legit do not even care its not a 1:1 remake of the first game, if I wanted to play FF7 its available on every fucking device known to Christ. Its been 22 years.

In the original concept of FF7, SE had a plan of having sort of malevolent spirits tormenting the group on Jenova/Sephiroth’s command. They scrapped it for the Black Blobby things in the original game.

I don’t think they’re pushing it back, the game looks pretty done and realized. Unlike FFXV which was a shitshow from start to finish.
