Like your brother Ricky, would you forego your Factory Corvette ride for a chance to race and possibly win in the Prototype classes?

The thing that strikes me as the greatest part of that poster is that this was put up in the 50‘s! That is just remarkable on the forefront.
Is it just me, or did my fat ass just look at those thinking they were chocolate tools.......
This. Just gonna add on to you Foom, and say my opinion.:
Yea, they were not doing BS coverage then. They were pretty pumped as to what i remembered.
Seriously, the Improved Production Car Championship looks like something from a video game like Forza or Gran Turismo with how many different cars were there. Do we have an American equivalent? I yearn to see/compete in said series if it exists.
I can only guess....
It looks really good, and it definitely looks creative. Me, personally, am waiting for any racing versions. Since the want for the racing arm to goto Le Mans , I’m just waiting for a racing version of this.
Thanks for clearing it up for me, cause I was a bit confused at first.
I think it has to do with the points in the NAEC. The points are given out in segments at the 8, 10,12,18 and 24-hour marks I believe. So they probably just were at the right place at the right time.
I am extremely proud to be a bit of a HPD fan right now. Besides the fact of the 93 having accident damage and frying it’s gearbox in the 23rd hour, they would have both top 5, or even a win. Now they are leading the NAEC. That’s great! I’m proud of the Micheal Shank Racing guys and gals for their hard work.
I mean, given the fact that they got the styling cues delayed and go the actual Christmas, getting close to the top 5 ain’t half bad IMO.
It looks very intimidating , but it does look like it may need a little work. I hope its a good fight in P class, but I hope it is an actual good fight.
This is the beginning what I would like to see for the future: a lot more open-wheel( F1, Indycar, GP2, etc.) , NASCAR, WEC and /or retired racers for one last drive (like Kristensen and McNish talking with Ganassi about future Rolex 24 run). I am also hoping that he could consider a possible part-time sportscar…
And to add onto that, they will be at the December test in Dec. 13-14, alongside the Mazda DPi as well. Hopefully there will be alot of photos and video from that as well.
The Walking Dead is a Dead Man Walking.
I’ll give her credit, she had helluva corner commitment!
True, you’re right :-)
I know you’re probably joking, but.... :P
