Y’know truth be told, even though I was not a massive fan, I will greatly miss it. It was new, quirky, fresh, and will probably go down in history as one of the most odd race cars longingly used in any racing period (2012-2016). Maybe we’ll see it in some historics one day!

Yea, I can agree with the GTE Pro———> 90's GT1, with the added downforce, slight bumping in power, and even the aer0 just is becoming GT1-esque.

One question I have to ask: Why does it have LMS? The old and new R8 GT3 race car had LMS, which stood for “Le Mans Series” I believe, but had no intention of racing there. Can someone shine some light on that naming scheme?

You’d be correct on that one. A few years ago when Chase Elliot was in the Truck series, he had raced Austin Dillon, I think, to the checkered flag when Dillon was saving fuel. My only thought is that since the car is pretty outclassed compared to all the other cars on track,as well as the lowest performing N/A car,they’d have to compensate with more aggressive driving.
