And the Civic is “good looking”?  The civic reminds me of what a 10 year old kid would doodle while bored in history class.

I am in NY metro area, I emailed my local dealer for a price on an in stock Palisade. I wanted the best price and I was ready to buy, nothing but a draft letter to call. So I repeated my request to this specific salesman, again nothing. Except I get an email every day from the dealer asking what they can do for me! A

No, Stewart said you should accelerate but only to the amount that you don’t have to lift at any time. Slowly increasing throttle input from apex to track out, you should be at full throttle at or before track out.

“Old man tan” is it me or is every old Buick or Toyota Avalon hogging the left lane this color?

GT4 is the third generation Cayman, it’s much larger inside than the second gen.  And at 6’5” I don’t fit with out the carbon buckets all the way back and down on the floor.  Even though I love the car, a GT3 is in my future, it’s just bigger and gives me some breathing room.

This is a major problem with a Corvette purchase, the dealership experience. I went to buy a C7 Z06, almost couldn’t get a salesman to talk to me. Wouldn’t take me for a test ride unless I put a deposit down. Wouldn’t even let me test drive a used one. Went to a Porsche dealer, drove a Cayman, didn’t fit, drove a

Well as someone who came from Texas you should know that the most used weapon to hunt feral hogs is the AR platform that is now widely condemned. In fact it is the most widely used hunting weapon because it is so versatile.

Love these Miata fan boys, not even in the same league as a Porsche. And the GT3RSR that won Le Mans has a strut front suspension, just takes good engineering to make it work. A Miata is basically a toy, no luggage space for even a weekend, and if your even slight larger than average you will be regretting your

Sure, just like Cadillac and Buick don’t offer have vinyl roofs any longer yet I see them routinely.

Not available during the initial launch, it will be available later in the model cycle.  Porsche has already publicly stated this.

The 911 will have a manual, just not during this initial introduction.

I agree, leaves a bad taste in my mouth, after spending $80K on a car and having to pay for a feature that’s standard in my econobox.

The price of the Corvette is not the issue in getting me to switch from my Porsche, it’s the crap Chevy dealers.

You are wrong about the cost, the Porsche PDK which is widely considered the best available DCT costs between 7-10K more than a stick if the platform is available with a manual.

Even Porsche relented and gave the masses an option for a stick in the new GT3. The DCT is faster, but no where’s near as involving. It’s the reason I bought my GT4, and why I would not purchase the new GT3 until they released the manual model.

The front fenders are guaranteed to need replacement in the most minor of front impacts, those wings, fangs, what ever will never be able to be fixed economically.  GM has lost its styling sense years ago.  A pickup is not supposed to look like a space ship.

Just one more reason to stay away from Crazyfornia, can’t have a car hobby but, there are tent cities where people crap in the streets and are infested with disease like TB. And your crazy Governor is inviting more from south of the border with “free” health care, housing,  food.

I owned an E320 and it was one of the best cars, felt solid like it was made out a block of steel. My newer Mercedes don’t have that feel.

No one is buying these, there all leased, which causes problems on the back end for manufactures.

Maybe they should change the rules to penalize crashing out the entire field (Johnson in the clash this year), instead of giving him the winners trophy.  Only racing series where you can cause the crash that takes out the guy in front of you and win.
