Those Seagate external drive BLOW! I had mine replaced twice in a year under warranty (which isn't actually free since you have to follow special packaging requirements and pay shipping), and the third one is now all clicky-clacky. And I don't even move mine around, it just sits on my desk as an external backup.

If you shoot with a vintage 1970s camera, are you lying about what you see? Can you only shoot with vintage 2011 cameras in 2011, so that it looks like 2011?

That gets me the old home page, but none of the links work when I click them. It just freezes my browser.

Yeah, and despite working with their help crew the past few days, my browser still doesn't show the main photo, the slideshows don't work, and if I try to scroll the Latest Headlines portion of the page, it just disappears altogether.

I agree, the cheesy-ass Gizmodo ending kind of ruined the somber reflection.

I do work in Finland, and most companies there have saunas. And I'm not talking about just for the execs, I'm talking about saunas available to blue collar workers in shipyards, etc. It's like the national pastime there. Sauna sitting is even a sport. Yes, that does save the environment, but the FBI can't record what you're looking up in the phone book!

Now if everyone would just realize that professional athletes shouldn't make money ...

This is probably the best article I've ever read on Gawker.

I just made a little rolling game cart because even if I hang the Kinect off my TV, I'd still have to run a cable over to the Xbox.

28 days later ...

But what makes that scene so great is the fact that the same Volkswagon and Pontiac go by in the background about 15 times.

Hmmm. I don't disagree with the article about why a Facebook phone doesn't make sense, but Gawker writers sure are calling out a lot of other media sources and tech people lately when their own facts record isn't too sparkling.

I think the Four Loko was only mentioned for character development. These two teens were obviously crazy risk-takers with no respect for the law or common decency. Say what you will about the tenets of National Socialism, but at least it's an ethos!

Opulence, I has it.
