If this makes it to the US, I will buy it.

Aaaaaaand the countdown to 2045 has begun
So wait, Subaru becomes more and more humdrum by the year and Toyota starts making the fun cars?
I mean, it’s much more Britain and France’s fault, but we haven’t done the region any favors either.
For the record, if Trump hadn’t switched parties and still ended up as President, the Democrats would be acting the same way right now. It’s partisanship that’s the enemy, not either party in its entirety.
Shiite regime that harbored a deep hatred of the United States for the 1953 coup
If you want to go down that road we can, but my point is about the lack of consistency in the coverage of both events. The media used the word “killed” when it came to Osama bin Laden and the New York Times also threw in the phrase “targeted assault”. They didn’t almost unanimously call it an assassination like they…
It was not an assassination. Quit playing into the fake news media’s talking point. Even Obama’s DHS secretary has debunked this one. If it was an assassination, so was the killing of Osama bin Laden.
When I was a kid, my ultimate dream game was basically, ‘KotOR II but you get to fly the Ebon Hawk around and stuff’.
Realistically, they would only gain a relatively small number of new buyers and avoid a minor PR blunder. It's not like all women refuse to buy games without playable female characters and it's certainly not like all female gamers would suddenly buy their game if it was added.
That’s totally fair. If a writer wants to criticize a game for not featuring gender representation, that’s totally fine. That’s valuable journalism, and it helps you make the informed choice I discussed in my original post.
Was it?
I think it’s silly to expect games to always have a male and female option, and even sillier to expect a patch that adds the choice to a two year old game...but the way the people’s request/concern was handled here, was very poor.
Adding anything in game development is a lot of work.
If a game or developer does not align with your politics and you feel strongly about it, then don’t buy the game. By all means, take a stand. Sign an online petition stating that you’re not buying the game because it fails to give equal representation to women. If you want to enact real change and enough people feel…
So, you don’t play anything that doesn’t have female playable characters?
Damn it I saw the picture for the article and thought they announced a new Dark Forces game. Now I’m sad.
