Cringed a bit just seeing a picture of those, they’re such a pain in the ass when they slip.

The plastic pop rivet are great for that sort of thing too if its a light load because you don’t have to drill them out when you inevitably have to remove the parts again.

As a comparison I drink a lot of water, 4-5 nalgenes a day or 1 Gallon roughly. When I used to work outdoors doing manual labor all day I’d carry around a gallon jug of water and fill it probably 3 times a day. That was while doing fairly back breaking working in the Summer.

What the hell do you do all day? Other than

Political correctness from either side is usually just veiled Authoritarianism, not much good can come of it. “Just be nice” or “Don’t be an asshole” doesn’t go far these days.

Triumph would be a better fit. There’s too much overlap with the Ducati line and KTM for the naked bike market. Triumph the has a smaller range of bikes plus their scrambler and street twin would fit in well with KTM

Ohh thats cool. Did they ever come up with an easy way to squeeze a bit more power out of those?

Damn thats too accurate for the brown color.

Some models were reliable, and the newest have a pretty great warranty. I love my mk6 GTI, but its spent a fair amount of time getting worked on at the dealer, turbo failed recent, clutch basically exploded 2 years ago, water pump failed, and diverter valve went. The rest of my family has 5 VWs from similar vintage

In my experience and a few friends VW is significantly more inclined to cover things under warranty than MINI. Maybe its just the local dealers who suck at claims, but VW have covered my clutch exploding at 30k and Turbo replacement at 45k (The dealer’s really nice, but its a far cry from a reliable car). A friend’s

Great choice, but for the damn Honda touch screen setup. I’d go Tiguan or Sportage for the warranty and better interior if it had to be a CUV.

A twelve volt electrical system replaces the original six volt set up and that has necessitated the adoption of an alternator (fancy!) and new starter.

It makes sense to be open as much as possible since unlike a hotdog stand you’ve got to keep your main product frozen all the time so the electric bill is already going to be high. Seems like this owner didn’t spend much time with a calculator to figure out costs vs daily profit.

Both sides end up in authoritarianism. Its the political circle of suck.

Are you not familiar with India’s politics? Its pretty far from a liberal bastion in the East...

Not even related to booze. If you’re at a wedding and get a glass of apple juice from a bar, you should tip. Having alcohol in the beverage doesn’t make getting served less of a service.

Same here, got about 6 VWs in the family and its been joked about at holiday time before that the EPA numbers are low. My ‘14 GTI is rated at 31 highway and I hit that easily with all season tires in New England hills. Down 95 to MD I’ve managed a 36 mpg average.

Saw you addressed this in a previous reply, nvm

Jetta? The 40mpg EPA number is for the 1.4L, the 1.8L is 33 highway. If she has the 1.4 and really did baby it on a flat drive somethings wrong with that little thing, tire pressure, fuel, or you managed to drive uphill both ways.

That seems unlikely. The NRA isn’t even in the top ten of lobyists, there just isn’t enough money going through them for that to make any sense. Much more likely is that the Russians were there networking. At the time they were hanging around under the pretense of improving their shooting sports programs.

Or just don’t use biometrics, allowing law enforcement access to your device without a warrant is reason enough already. Wrongly accused and didn’t do anything wrong? Get picked up as a potential suspect or witness through happenstance and its easy enough to find something on a phone or laptop to leverage against you.

If only there were an alternative way to send things, something with a catchy name, like Federal Express! or United Parcel Service! Yeah, there’s a business opportunity!

Its not USPS’s fault, they’re the only section of the government that has to try and self fund. Give the poor bastards a break.
