Self-awareness doesn't excuse a reliance on stereotypes that is, at its absolute best, lazy writing. The portrayal of Dong in this episode almost completely turned me off a show that I have been loving.

I've been on the fence about this season, but this episode was back to top form. So nice to have Segel back with the core cast - his subplot has been one of the weakest parts of this season.
The worst part part of this recap series is that I came onto it now, which means being able to marathon until this point and now having to wait. This is really great writing, eloquently encapsulating everything I've felt about this show while also helping me work out things I hadn't quite formed an opinion on.
