The JJ Abrams reboot is rotten to its core, and I doubt any director (especially the one who wrecked the final act of Scott Pilgrim) is going to be able to work with that.

Marvel wanted Jensen Ackles for Hawkeye. I'm still sad this didn't happen because Renner adds little to the character or either of the MCU films he's been in. On the other hand, I think Ackles wouldn't be able to stop himself from making a great Hawkeye. The world may disagree. (That world is wrong).

I have hoped for years that someone could see a way to create a similar approach to doing Star Trek: TOS as a purely CGI venture. Even doing a stylized version with the current movie incarnations dome for the same audience as "Clone Wars" would create a point of entry for young potential fans, and it would keep

Arrow has worked great, up to this point — I'm concerned about the introduction of superpowered heroes & villains being introduced to what was previously a more realistic universe, so I'm crossing all my fingers and toes, hoping that it doesn't fall off the rails now.
