No question, it was nuts. But, I loved it (although in my defence, I was like 15 years old.) It was also the first bootleg VHS movie I ever bought (back in the days when a video release was many months after a film was in theatres.) Nowadays, I remember Moonraker fondly for one of my favourite John Barry Bond scores.

Well done, CJ!

Why all the griping? This is going to be the best Star Wars series yet!

I think we all know that funny or not, Fox will kill this labor of love before a full season has aired. I give it 6 episodes.

“[insert protagonists here] plucked from their normal lives who are tasked with saving the world from [insert antagonists here]”

Don’t forget suing a fan film. Launching a lawsuit (regardless of how you feel about the dispute) against fans within weeks of announcing the new series wasn’t a very smart PR strategy.

No. Dumbass. I’m saying both subjects are relevant, have been for millennia, and will continue to be for the foreseeable future. So why not develop more recent books by modern writers who will have a modern, contextually more relevant take on the issue? Not to mention, how about adapting a book by one of the new

Oh, sure. It’s still relevant. Like racism is still relevant. But, my point is that Hollywood would still rather old material than new.

Awesome. Another film/tv version of a 60 year old book. You know what would be really cool? An adaptation of a new, RELEVANT science-fiction novel. I feel like Hollywood producers would be surprised to discover that the genre actually continued long after all the masters died. Besides dystopian future, teen-girl

I LOVED the film, but saw no need to see the same story again, stretched over multiple seasons. Timeless, on the other hand, is terrific and deserves to be renewed.

Frederik Pohl said the same thing over 40 years ago.

I love how sanctimonious and critical the U.S. got about any other nation even possessing just the skills to make a nuclear device after it had actually detonated OVER 200 OF THEM. How convenient.

It doesn’t make me wish I had wheels; it makes me pray I have a f***ing anti-tank weapon with me when those things come after me.

I hear ya. I love Peter Capaldi, but I still haven’t really warmed up to him as the Doctor. That said, The Husbands of River Song may be one the best Who adventures since the reboot and it could only have been played by Capaldi. So my recommendation would be to watch a handful of his episodes - honestly, most were

Ah, nice catch. I picked up on the Prisoner vibe and totally missed the jacket!

I would say way more inspired by Stanley Kubrick than Wes Anderson. Jeezus, the hospital was even called Clockwork. How much more do you need?

I’ve re-watched that scene 100 times. His delivery is epic. I have to admit I’ve been slow to warm to Peter Capaldi as the Doctor, although I love him as an actor, and appreciate that he breathed a lot of life into some lame scripts. But, Husbands of River Song wasn’t just great; it showed us how masterfully Capaldi

“Time travel. Since my first day on the job as a Starfleet captain I swore I’d never let myself get caught in one of these godforsaken paradoxes - the future is the past, the past is the future, it all gives me a headache.” Captain Janeway.

I think most everyone thinks it....to the point that she could play a young Princess in a prequel film. Or wait a couple of years and re-do the end of Rogue one with her instead of the CGI.
