Lol, no it isn’t “unfair”. Tesla showed this at a semi-public event and let people record it. How is that unfair?

Did.... Did you just drop ‘You started it!’? What are you, nine?
Anyway, I needed a good laugh. You see, describing your actions (to someone else, mind you) as seagull-like is hyperbole, not name-calling. To boot, you underscored my first point in that post (the one not addressed to you), probably without realizing it.

The nerve of this fucker complaining about “cancel culture” when Russia is trying to cancel Ukraine from existence. They’ve gone from an unprovoked invasion, to intentionally killing civilians, to now inching towards genocide. Russian media is talking about “re-educating” the population because “Ukrainianism is an

He just believes that hyperbole is not allowed in others.
He is really more of a seagull; he just flies in, drops some crap everywhere, and then squawks away when people engage him.

Even I, old and decrepit as I am, understand this: After a hot minute as the new catchy catch phrase, “cancel culture” was exposed as the feeble protest of the privileged against accountability. You have to be living in a special kind of bubble to still utter those words unironically.

It’s weird how “cancel culture” is pretty much “a rich person can’t do whatever they want.”

They aren’t sanctions, they are Special Economic Operations.

It took over 75 million lives to “cancel” hitler during WWII, and sure thing it was good he got “cancelled”, or we would surely not be talking about cancel culture in this open forum today.

Geez I get so f’ing tired of people using buzz words to act like they are being mistreated.

‘Cancel Culture’ in terms of invading another country and killing everyone is sight because you want to.

So kill EV adoption until we have a dramatic breakthrough in battery energy density, great idea.

I am very interested in your 300% tax on all existing EVs in the US. The Honda E and Renault Zoe would be hit by your tax.

Fuck it all, no engines over 200 hp without paying for a more comprehensive license and any vehicle over 3000 lbs gets taxed at 300%.

My 2018 Mazda3 manual is listed at 3013 lbs. So even my compact (it’s smaller than my wife’s Cruze) compact car is heavier than that.

More taxes eh? Just what we all need.

a modern nissan sentra weighs more than that. thats how heavy cars are these days.

First of all, every single one of these heavy EVs has every safety system already baked in because of the higher overall cost. They have emergency braking, collision avoidance and lane centering as standard. Thus, they are better at avoiding hitting other obstacles than the average vehicle around them.

Chevy Chevette Rally 1.6.

I think it’s about someone like Bezos spending billions of dollars to fund Blue Origin, which is very cool because it can send people on flights to space.

I’ll admit to eating a little bit of crow on this one because I legitimately never thought I’d see any article critical of any EV published here.
