Ranch me, brotendo.
Ranch me, brotendo.
I think we can reasonably distinguish between this incident and Smolett’s allegations, which included a number of details that made them seem suspect from the outset.
One way to get involved is to draw the perpetrator’s attention away from the victim. It can be as simple as talking to the perpetrator, or stepping in between the two.
Smollet really gave these chuds fuel for their shitty bigoted fire.
It’s very hard to think on one’s feet in these situations because they happen quickly, but I think the more we think about the possibility of things like this happening around us, the better prepared we’ll be to protect people. I worry about everyone, but especially about my parents (Asians, both in their eighties), an…
Better than the “Why didn’t she just use her kung fu?” brigade.
Yeah, the occurrence of the hate crime itself wouldn’t ruffle that brigade’s feathers, but publicizing it is what sets them off. How can they continue to enjoy the suffering of others if we continually call it out and act to block it?
Oh goody, time for another rollout of the “this hate crime looks a lil’ fishy and it’s making me angry” brigade.
I wish she stabbed him and took his soul.
Lets all call Jason Mumpower’s office and see whats up :)
And yet the state comptroller is justified in his openly racist witch hunt. Huh.
I live about 40 minutes from Mason. I have watched that town implode politically from corruption losing its police force TWICE stealing 600K dollars from the city over 10 years. And the current mayor isnt perfect. He recently was pulled over for a DUI but Mumpowers corrupt ass. He took office january 21 of this year…
Just the sort of situation a major windfall from the investment would fix. Perhaps the those trying to eliminate the town should offer some financial planning help instead of diverting what would be local taxes to their donors.
Transferring money from the local utilities to the general city funds may be against tennesee law, but it is common practice elsewhere (at least here in Europe).
It’s just so openly racist. And condescending, like the black folk can't handle governing
Yeah that sounds about white. I love my fucking state.
...our you know, just an article about how a Ford plant in a predominantly black community has riled up racists in positions of power due to how the black community will benefit from it.
That thumb of a comptroller actually started the process of forcibly taking control the next day.
I know it’s Tenessee but damn that’s on the nose. (“These black folk don’t know how money works, unlike those white folk who were efficient in their fraud!”)
Finally, the perfect engagement ring for the love of your life who enjoys kinda gross salads.
