Because there have already been numerous court rulings across many states that vehicle license plates are technically state property, and as such, individuals do not qualify for 1st amendment rights for state property.

I love how all these idiots cry “1st amendment” without actually knowing what they’re talking about. Many courts have already ruled that vehicle license plates are property of the state and thus don’t qualify for individual 1st amendment rights. This is no different.
