Yeah, when I waqs in the Army we had this one guy at one of my duty assigments who most would consider “overweight”. However he consistently maxxed his PT tests. Even then, the Army would still tell him his BMI was too high (?? am I getting that right?) and made him do remedial PT to lose the “extra weight”.

Because apparently, those of differing races need targeted ads to help them feel validated that they are normal everyday human beings do normal everyday human stuff.

Well, at least your not known as the only kid in your small farming town who hit a deer on his bike. o_O

1st Gear: Unions and corporations doing illicit deals to get ahead?

When I was stationed in Germany we very rarely took a car. Trains were the way to go and they pretty much took you anywhere in comfort. Meanwhile, here in the US, what was once a thriving transportation system is now in such a sad state. It’s a shame.

It was red. Other than the paint job being oxidized it was in hear perfect shape. No dents or body work. All badging was present, all original. Chrome was in great shape, minimal pitting. Almost no rust. To this day I kick myself for selling it.

I was (at the time) stationed in Washington state, that’s where I picked up the car. It was the late 80s and I had to ship out to Germany. I wanted to take the car with me but it would have cost too much to ship. More than a lowly Army Specialist could afford. In retrospect, I could have taken the car to Illinois and

It’s always nice when you can find that gem of a classic car that runs great for next to nothing. That happens maybe twice in a lifetime. My gem was finding a 68 Olds 442 with the rally package for $1200. The only thing wrong with it was a bad radiator, oxidized paint job and a couple cigarette burns in an otherwise

Yup, they’re “Trail Rated “ alright. Just don’t take it through a moderately deep mud puddle.

Two MMOs that I played that had absolutely awesome communities; Star Wars Galaxies and City of Heroes\Villains. Those games pretty much ruined it for me for other MMOs, community wise.

And that can be offset by completing quests in realms (realms is not really the right word but I’m having a brain fart ATM) where you get realm bonuses you can pick from like bonuses to experience.

And yet, WoW chat was still a toxic cesspool.

Now playing

Ural sidecar motorcycles. Watch some of the videos of those things going just about anywhere. I watched one video where a couple of Urals were flying down this gnarly dirt road and the lead one rolled and caught fire. They quickly put the fire out (it appeared some gas leaked onto the hot engine block), up-righted it,

I don’t know, that thing looks like it would topple onto it’s side at even a slight angle.

This is so funny because a similar thing happened to me. I was going through a light, right next to a middle school, when I braked because the school busses started coming out from the school in my direction and one went a little wide almost into my lane. As soon as I braked, BAM! rear ended by an Audi. The guy

I sat in one of these in Germany not long after they first came out. Those doors are pretty wild.

Only second to “Hold my beer!”

Or, you know, just have a manual neutral lock like most push button start, electronic shift cars nowadays have for when you lose battery power.

I’m going with Angel Dust, or possibly Meth. Those action movie combat rolls are the stuff of drugs.

I need both of these vehicles in my driveway!
