I am Mexican(and live in Mexico City) and Puertorrican and that is why I only said in Puerto Rico. I never hear the word here ever. But in Puerto Rico, we used those two all the time and I’m sure that it’s not the only place in the Caribbean that does.

Joder is something people almost only use in Spain. Jodete though is used in Latin America. In Puerto Rico we used “jodete” and “no me jodas” frequently.

I hated Kick Ass because I remember the fans and stuff made a big stink of Roger Ebert saying that the movie was being sold to children when the trailer was exactly that and the day I went to see it, a little kid in the ticket line flat out said he wanted to see “La pelicula de los superheroes (the superheroes movie).

I don’t know. As an international person, I’ll say that nobody here or in my other country knows him from Welcome Back Kotter but from Saturday Night Fever or Pulp Fiction.
