Well, Sara mentioned Nyssa to Alex in the crossover, but in the context of Nyssa being “her Maggie,” so her intense first love, who she eventually realized wasn’t the right person for her to be with.

If you would’ve told me that this bonkers ass show would eventually be the best show in the DCTV universe when it premiered I would’ve laughed you out; and yet here we are. The cold open alone provided me with one of the heartiest laughs that I’ve had all week and pretty much every thing that followed was aces.

No Jax, don’t go! His departure felt somewhat final, though I hope it isn’t. The timing of Franz Drameh leaving the show an episode after Victor Garber leaves feels a lot like the show deciding to take this opportunity to acknowledge that Firestorm never really worked as a character due to being overpowered (for story

Even if Guggenheim doesn’t get fired specifically for any inappropriate behavior on his part, not sure how he can go back to Arrow realistically after Emily Bett Rickards called him “weak and complicit” for trying to cover for this guy & Stephen Amell fully backed her up (saying “if you aren’t part of the soluti0n,

Guggenheim next, even that great crossover he manages to make Felicity the worst aspect of it.

As much as I hated evil Kara and evil Oliver, their romance was really affecting. I actually felt bad for heartbroken evil Oliver when he saw her go supernova.

The Flash v. Reverse Flash scene where everyone else looked frozen in time was SO FREAKING COOL.

This feels like a great place to point out that the Chrome extension Kinjamprove comes with a block function.

More the people who unironically call themselves white nationalists, and march around synagogues shouting “Sieg Heil!” and so on.

Amaya especially. If she’s always going to worry about endangering her future she needs to go back to the JSA.

Interesting to see how this crossover fits in the shows timeline considering most of their plots are in full steam right now.

Agreed, Garber had much fun but Jax seemed to explore a part of himself that doesn’t feel organic.

That scene where he revealed to Nate that he killed his father was dangerously dark and Nate’s reaction and the music that played was great.

I am so ready for the crossover next week! This show is so much fun, and having that Mick focused episode was just fantastic.

Because there’s no Zack Snyder over-indulgence.

Liked Gideon getting a bit of snark in.

Really strong episode for Mick, but can someone explain to me why they decided to dress Lyndon Johnson up like Douglas MacArthur? That whole subplot for Jax felt really tacked on.

I was not prepared for the deep dive into Mick’s understanding of his father, and the role Vietnam may have played in his father’s later mistreatment of his family. But I really, really loved it.
