Have you ever tried Person of Interest? It asks some of those questions and eventually explores some real downsides of near-universal surveillance.

I have a soft spot of Joan of Arcadia. But then I also really liked Eli Stone...so maybe I like god/fate humor. Jason Ritter’s such a great actor but lots of what he’s been in has been disappointing. Hopefully this one will stick.

9JKL has that actor I think of as “The male Amanda Peet,” David Walton. He gets chance after chance to be in sitcoms, but he is both deeply unappealing and unfunny, and his shows keep getting cancelled. I don’t know what kind of blackmail material he and Amanda Peet have on producers, but it must be juicy.
