Video game adaptations have a long history of taking the approach that “I can write a better story than a videogame,” and then presenting you with a much, much worse story than was in the videogame.

You seem to be missing the point. If the line is “I don’t want to support a product that will benefit someone that has views I don’t agree with” then what can you actually buy? Farmer market produce (maybe)?  The best you can do is keep your head in the sand and not dig into the details of any company and claim

The reviews have all been very positive so I’m not sure where you’re getting the idea that the game is shitty? It currently has an 86 MC score. Fans of the setting will certainly enjoy it more but even people who don’t care about Harry Potter have been finding the game enjoyable.

I understand not wanting to support anti-Trans billionaire JK Rowling 1,000%. I’m not defending any part of that revolting cunt’s war on the Trans community.

I’ve always hated Red Lobster, because the only one nearby is terrible. You walk in and the place reeks of fish. Portions are small, rubbery, and salty. However, I had to travel to Schaumberg for work, and decided to try the Red Lobster around the corner from the hotel.

that would need WoW to be console-compatible.. which it isn’t.

yeah i was enjoying the absurdity of the show too. i figured something like this would happen - it’s AI pulling from thousands of human data sets, i’m sure - so hopefully the team can implement some sorta extra content moderation tools to flag and prevent sussy rhetoric from happening again. i would absolutely hate it

That’s easier said than done, though. Games on the scale of Morrowind take far more effort and money than they did in the 90s, because technology has progressed faster than revenue. Not to mention how tons of games only exist because they utilize third party tools and engines, and developers only have so much control

A friendly reminder that it’s only pronounced “jif” if you also say “jraphics.”  Which you don’t.

Honestly it’s just good policy. No one was totally sure if the move was legal by the rules. They investigated and ruled it was against the rules but since there was ambiguity the instigating incident was given a pass. Likely if this ended differently (like if a bit of the guard wall caught the car and sent it crashing

I don’t know anything about NASCAR or racing in general, but this seems like the right call.

BMI is useful for the majority of people, the middle of the bell curve.
According to BMI, I need to lose 30 pounds to be considered “not overweight”. The last time I weighed that little I was in high-school and was a skeleton. No, thank you, I don’t want to look like a skeleton

What do you mean, “paint?” An average is a concrete statistical quantity. That the average American’s waist size is about 40 inches is an objective fact.

When is that “late stage” supposed to begin & end?

You know maybe instead of a huge plan for all these movies over all these years.

2 Left 2 Behind

Eh i dont know. People will forgive a lot as long as they are not inconvenienced.

Debatable to call it a war crime, legally speaking. Imminent protection of life and limb of a noncombatant generally absolves any use of ‘overkill’ weapons in a “heat of the moment” situation.

I wonder if people that ascribe to this philosophy have ever worked in an environment that isn’t “content creator.”
