Moreover, no ice cream after a roast.

I should make more posts where interpreting them as word salad makes them funnier than my intended point.
“Being absurd for absurdities sake just seems like too much trouble.”
Personally, I find it pretty easy and pretty lazy.
So it’s a lot like American cuisine, really.
Hey, respect the tuna.
I think Kareem’s reputation suffered as a result of finishing his career *right* as the NBA exploded in popularity. Millions of NBA fans just have to take appraisals of Bill Russell on faith, but mention Kareem and 30/40something fans will think “yeah, I saw him, he was *good*, but not GOAT.”
I mean, for a solo adventurer, “Life Domain Human Cleric” is one of the best choices you can make.
With the exception of first opening at 10 a.m., I have never seen a Culver’s anything short of pretty busy.
Actually, they tied for second on speed of service. Which tells you how much this is shaped by expectation - nobody stops by Culvers and thinks they’ll be leaving with hot food in 90 seconds.
And here I was assuming a flamebait comment like this had to be the work of your doppelganger. If you think fast food is inedible, you might want to reconsider posting on “The Takeout”.
Essentially. I can’t imagine CCP ever saying “Prejudice of any kind is totally unacceptable.” They’re trying to have it both ways, and that’s going to mean the edgelords win by default. *Plus*, trying to conceal the nature of the game ensures a steady stream of unsuspecting newbies try it and have horrible experiences…
I think we’re agreeing *here* that Sea of Thieves, being an open world PvP with theft on death, was inevitably going to be “taken over by edgelords” unless the publisher pushed back hard. And they didn’t. They’re not even explicitly “courting the creeps” (a la EVE), which means that they’re following a doomed middle…
I don’t think it’s OK, and I don’t think it’s natural. But, absent heavy-handed developer intervention, I do think having your game taken over by edgelords is *inevitable*. Yes, 95% of people may not be crapping in the pool, but the actions of the remaining 5% ensure that anyone interested in a crap-free swimming…
I’ve never been the one screaming hate speech at people. I just seem to encounter them in a lot of PvP games, and so do lots of other people.
And to the anonymous burner bitching that this is “the way it is intended to be played”, I can’t help but notice that the game’s developer isn’t making this argument. Perhaps because they’d rather their game have a broader audeince than dedicated sociopaths?
Psst - it's the second one.
Gosh, it's almost as if PvP-focused players are (usually) vindictive twits who can only enjoy themselves if they're ruining someone else's day. Who could have seen this coming?
Was it dubbed? Wondering if some voice actors deserve partial credit for that reaction.
Exactly. Of all the early Silent Hill games, 4 is the one I imagine folks are least interested in. On top of not actually being *in* Silent Hill (and having been developed as a standalone game), it does itself no favors by making the *entire* second half of the game an escort mission.
I guess, but that’s a live event - there’s a well-understood value to being able to say “I was there when it happened”. There’s a reason people watch cover bands instead of just throwing a concert film on a big screen - being present makes makes things more engaging. You’re not present for the actions of a recording…
