I was going to rewrite the Zack Snyder “you’re living in a f*****g dream world” quote for this, but now I’ve had to read it again and think combining it with this Sonic movie would create some sort of Bad Adaptation Singularity.

Well, I know pro poker players don’t shuffle the cards. If Phil Ivey didn’t mark the cards himself, is he really cheating?
This is why Arena is probably going to be the future of competitive Magic - nobody get accused of marking cards in e-sports.
Not knowing it is fine. Just don’t advertise your ignorance.
Doesn’t pancreatic cancer tend to become lethal pretty quickly? Isn’t it kind of impressive he’s doing as well as he is, just at the moment?
Also? Cheaper too.
We’ll never know how much of that picture was just royal flattery, but Henry VIII was actually incredibly active and fit as a young man until an injury kept him largely sedentary.
“...the reality is that the world is better today than it ever has been before.”
This. I mean, I’m sure *someone* got all hot and bothered seeing Prince Fielder in the buff, but I was just intrigued to see a body designed to pound home runs given the full “tasteful nude” treatment.

“The wide shot of the Avengers, the Guardians, the other heroes, the Wakandan army, and the wizard reinforcements facing off against Alternate Timeline Thanos and his horde works because it’s so overwhelmingly grandiose. It’s a moment that was earned through a commitment as stringent as those made by the longest TV…
Also, I liked that 2014 Thanos saw that he would be killed shortly after The Snap, and didn’t hesitate for a moment.
That was my reaction too:
Look, if some French auteur had a 22-film series with a conclusion one quarter as satisfying as Endgame, we all know it would be Mr. Dowd’s movie of the year.
Just know that neither of them is as good a movie as "Dragged Across Concrete"...apparently.
I think it was a bit gratuitously complicated, but I still enjoyed it. I think season 2's biggest problem is that story is now less “Stranger Things/Twin Peaks” and more “Terminator”.
