Line level audio is analog, which is not something any kind of USB cable would carry.

For everyone asking about Apple switching the iPhone to Micro-USB, the answer is absolutely not. The 30-pin dock connector carries not only power, but also data, line level audio, and 720p video. This is not something you can do with Micro-USB. Plus the fact that this is the Sprint CEO talking and a poorly written

Seriously, just go study object oriented programming for a year or so, then enroll in a cocoa programming course followed by an iPhone SDK course or two, plop down $99 to become a registered developer and then you can save everyone from being scammed 2 whole dollars.

I gotta say I absolutely love my AppleTV now that Airplay has matured. It’s nice to be able to easily view your own iPhone shot videos, look at photos from your phone, beam movies (in any format) using Air Video, show the whole room the funny youtube video on your phone, transfer the audio from TuneIn Radio when I’m

I do believe he plugged that USB cable into the dog’s butthole.

Wait, I thought Andy Rooney retired?

I've always gone by the rule that it's only good to downsample when the math is simple, ie. it's ok to downsample 88.2k to 44.1k, but not 96k to 44.1k, or 48k to 44.1k. But really the only advantage is that you now have a higher quality version for future use, not that the downsampled version is going to sound any

I would constantly be thinking there’s some dudes fruit basket hiding just behind my monitor.

Awesome! I did not know about this. I just went from 4.25GB to 6.5GB... thanks!

@chickennakatsu: Talk about someone feeling the need to validate their decision... do you feel better now?

@Winston the Pug: Right on! I didn't know about ca.gizmodo.com. I use the 'blog style' on the new gizmodo, but there are many things about it I don't like, for example sometimes using the up/down arrow keys scroll the web page, but other times it jumps to a completely new article. I also can't stand the ad that covers

Yeah, but can you play Angry Birds on these things?

I imagine it’s probably just an error message in regard to AirPlay photostreaming, which you can already do now.

@CaptMorgan74: One more reason to get rid of my fax machine...

@Settings: I’m not sure what prejudice has to do with this, and I don’t really care where you get your software from. I just can’t figure out why someone would complain about an app store’s prices being too high when it has managed to bring down the average price of software by a fairly large margin.

@Settings: You do realize the prices are across the board generally cheaper, right? Perhaps your simply used to piratebay prices?

This sounds great, I’ve been keeping an eye out for a point and shoot that does both high speed video (320 fps!) at a decent resolution (1080p!).

@AugureTheCensored: Yeah, if there's one thing I hate about my iPad, it's that it's completely illegible.

@Please Help Me: That was a great demo, but granted it only works for a single viewer.

@Canon7D-Fanboy: You've got a good point there. I remember one time I was out running around in the forest looking for a turkey to kill, and stumbled upon a coyote run factory farm.
