This is very exciting news! This opens the door for iPads and iPhones to sync to each other over Wi-Fi, which is something I’ve been waiting for since Beatmaker made it’s debut on the iPhone a few years ago. @v6sonoma: I think you're forgetting that using a multitouch trackpad still gives you 1-pixel precision on screen since a pointer is displayed. Multitouch direct to screen is a little less precise though, but that's not what this article is about.
