Oh, it's in my queue. The big problem is that it keeps getting bumped for more modern games and my replay of Baldurs Gate :). I actually wanted to finish Redemption first as well.

The post I read went beyond those issues, which I had known about and felt sympathy towards him for. The stuff in the post, which I won't repeat just because I don't KNOW it's true, was more damning about him as a person (involving voice mails and the use of funds raised for a hurricane victim).
You could always write the article yourself for TAYS.
Yeah, I read it too and thought “If we want to talk paranoia..."
I always enjoyed Orion on the show and was bothered by his exit. Finally, like in the last week, I found an a credible post explaining why he left and was "problematic". And yeah, I don't blame them for dumping his ass after reading that.
Great article. I feel like I reasonably follow gaming news and culture and had never heard of this group so this was incredibly informative. The quotes you got were great too.

Whoah, what? Oblivion was the first I played so that kinda blows my mind
Tomb Raider has been around for awhile and hasn’t particularly led to more female protagonists. (So I’ll believe it when I see it).
That’s mostly true, but they randomly made one chapter SOLELY Jacob.

Oooh. I like that choice.
The most disappointing thing about this article is that I learned from the comment section that there will only be eight episodes. :(
Asimov once agreed with a point someone made to him that just because he wrote the book didn’t mean he was the authority on what it was actually about. Writers sometimes don’t recognize their own influences when they’re writing something.
I remember him writing that too but I think it was specifically about the 80s crowds when they were winning all the time. It wasn’t that they learned about basketball so much as they learned their uber-talented team’s behavior.
I kinda feel like Kratos is way beyond getting his ass handed to him in a one on one fight, especially against a non ruler of a pantheon like Thor.
Can’t speak to the blanket, but mechanical keyboards are amazing.

Wrote this above, but here’s my advice.
Basically, you should be prepared to fail miserably for the first couple of sessions (making it a couple generations down the line). It is overwhelming and you’ll find yourself learning new things about the game for years.
Ugh, another reason he’s a terrible character.
