Appreciate the recommendation, but I’ve done way too much splurging recently (gaming PC, G-Sync monitor, Vive, 3D printer etc).

Other than the Bluetooth, is there any difference between the original pad and the “S” models?
Good idea.
Rise of the Tomb Raider. Bought it a good 6 months ago in a Steam sale and I’m only just getting around to playing it. Seems alright so far (about 30% completion). Same awesome gameplay as the first, but also has the same terrible voice acting (specifically, Camilla Luddington - I don’t get why people think she did…
I had to Google this...seems to be from some bullshit, cockney rap “song”.
Kb/mouse for FPS’s, Dualshock4 for everything else.
Each to his/her own I guess. The problem is that I’m looking at it as a handheld. A very overpriced handheld. (Having said that, it’s overpriced as a home console too, imo). But yeah, we’ll see. If it ever drops down to the £200 price that was rumoured a while back, I may pick one up, but after what happened with the…
Jesus! Did they outsource the facial animation tech from Bethesda?

Really? They’re expecting to sell that many?
IT Crowd, Silicon Valley and Parks & Rec are bloody brilliant. The Office starts out “meh”, gets really frickin good, then reverts back to “meh”.
If they’re thinking of making Steam Big Picture a sort of all-in-one centre for games and media, then count me in. I’m struggling to get an OpenELEC/SteamOS combo going so this could potentially save me the effort.
I’m also wondering about this. As someone who hasn’t found their “VR legs” yet, I’m concerned about motion sickness. Anyone tried it on Vive? I’m assuming there’s little to no room-scale and it’s a sitting/standing experience?
I totally disagree.
£279.99 according to Amazon. Nope. Will wait and see what the 2nd hand market it like, see how the games library is looking, then maybe pick one up. I was genuinely expecting to see a price similar to that of the original Wii or 3DS (£200 tops).
Totally agree about DS4>XBone. I had an XBone controller for around a month before selling it; the dpad is horrible, the bumpers are in the wrong position and even the face buttons don’t “feel” right (I felt like I had to be really specific about the way I pressed the B button, pressing it “wrong” would result in it…
It’s lists like these that have me longing for an x86/64-based handheld.
More Fallout 4. I put 150hrs into the PS4 version, but as I’m now part of the “master race” I’m re-playing it...just hit the 100hr mark.
I’ve recently switched back to PC after 8 years of console gaming and I’ve found my purchasing habits have changed somewhat. In the console days I’d buy games day-one (sometimes even pre-ordering) knowing that I could play them obsessively for a few weeks, then sell them whilst they’re still worth something. I’d…
