“I think more and more that the internet was a mistake” - the internet in itself isn’t the mistake. Putting it on phones was. Prior to smartphones you actually had to sit at a computer....which sifted out a good 70% of the chuckleheads currently online.

I would argue the car chase in Ronin was better IMO, BUT the French Connection get points because it was filmed on a LIVE street.

I always thought the Ford GT40 was a stunner, with its purposeful stance and swooping curves. Really, any of the paint combinations looked great on it, but the orange-on-blue livery was my favorite.
If there was a betting line for this, it would be a toss up between either the 250 GTO or “literally anything else.” Respect the GOAT.

I think the distinction “influential” is important. While a 911 is certainly an iconic design, it didn’t affect the car industry outside of Porsche one iota.
The original Mini Cooper pioneered the space-conscious transverse FWD layout that would become ubiquitous on passenger cars in the following decades.
