How about a non-scanner compact laserjet?? There must be one, any thoughts? All the non-scanner options in your list are inkjets and I’m not going down that road again.
I only print about once a month or so, and I’m not going through the ‘replace the dried up inkjet cartridge every time I want to print’ rigmarole ever

A long trailer is good because it will tow better.  Heavy trailers tow better than light ones too.

hmm - is the steering column really necessary? If it’s ‘fly-by-wire’, how soon before it’s got it’s own micro-wifi-network and all you need is a console controller and a seat..... Would certainly make it possible to place that seat anywhere on the platform (useful for expanding the range of body types).

I hope someone’s already suggested this - but for a road trip and sleeping in the van, I’d recommend Park4Night.com (also an app), my favourite way to find places to park up (not camp!, you’re never camping! ;) ).
