It's easier and quicker to glance at a needle and know 'roughly' what speed you're doing than it is to actively 'read' a set of numerals.

Looks like nice slow moving traffic to me, and weirdly - his current action is safer than trying to 'weave' from gap to gap.
IME all you need to do is have a few tabs open. Every page will be refreshed every f****** time you visit it! (very annoying when on a slow connection!)
Speaking as a vulnerable road user (motorcyclist), I'd all for car drivers keeping their attention on the road and other road users - rather than all the crap within the car. Just because you're safe in your steel safety cage doesn't remove you from the responsibility of driving safely.
Colin Furze strikes again! http://www.colinfurze.com/
Already got the 'best' bike for me.. so what I 'want' now is a Peraves EcoMobile / MonoTracer : ( https://peraves.wordpress.com/ ), but at a reasonable price!
As I read it - lanesplitting is legal in California, and Wes was working his way through stationary traffic in a perfectly legal manner. I also understand that in the US there's no such thing as 'undertaking' - ie it's legal to pass either side of a slow moving vehicle as long as it's safe to do so. In the UK this…
You need to get more zen Wes. Replace Thought 1 with Thought 20 and have done with it all. Do not let those with their souls in termoil affect your day any more than you have to. I rode through London for something like 10 years daily (commuting) and I think I can count on 1 hand the number of 'angry' encounters I…
It's a nice idea for someone in a small-flat or terraced house in some of the smaller estates. Not sure I'd leave my lid and clothing in it though - it definitely doesn't look damp-proof - any moisture is going to kill the tools in it fairly quickly too.
Without a car? yes no probs, doing it now. (Although the wife has one). Without a motorcycle? Hell no! I'd rather be dead.
If I can get a BMW boxer twin through most traffic in London, UK (one of the busiest and narrowest streeted cities in the western hemisphere) it'll be easy as pie in the US. There's plenty of space most of the time, and when there isn't - you pause for a second or two until the traffic moves on again - it's a dynamic…
Re the 'tarp under the tent' the main trick is to ensure that the tarp is totally covered by the outer surface of the tent eg: /_\ ( the _ is the tarp, the /\ is the tent outer). The tarp then can't 'collect' the rain water because none is falling onto it. It can do it's job of insulating the tent from ground damp. …
Sorry - no - if you're going to run a bike after it's been standing, run it for AT least a half hour ride. A 10 minute tick over will do nothing more than create even more condensation within the engine (increasing internal corrosion) and weakening the battery.
One of my favourite fords on my back-roads motorcycle routes!
I'm sure that's good, but will be sticking with my Raspberry Pi and XBMC - that way I don't have to turn the TV volume up so I can hear it over the jet engine roar of the Xbox working!
You could easily same pretty much the same about the Hawker Siddeley Harrier (AV-8B). Another aircraft that is perfectly suited to ground attack, CAS missions and yet isn't 'fast and sexy' enough for those with scrambled egg on their hats.
Amen brother Wes, amen.
