Cool argument.
Cool argument.
“Nothing to say” then, okay.
“Meta arguments” about vested interests are absolutely futile and have nothing to do with science. Many people who try to discredit global warming have vested interests too. So... both sides are wrong?
Ouch.
“You’re wrong”... wow, what a blistering argument, how long did it take you to come up with that?
What’s misleading about it? The data’s correct. Axes clearly labelled. Trend lines clearly described.
“Let me assert that the data is inaccurate and hope that everybody just believes me for some reason! Fingers crossed!”
Still a clear upward trend there, yep. Of course, it’s much less pronounced because you only used data from the last 35 years instead of the last 100 or so over which the trend has occurred.
You’re going to convince absolutely nobody until you give evidence that the JMA altered that data.
Really, asshole? “Fuck off” is the best retort you got?
You’re very unintelligent and uneducated, aren’t you? Your comment is completely incoherent, one or even a hundred clerical errors would not seriously affect the trend, there are tens of thousands of data points. Your argument literally equates to “I don’t like this so I’m going to pretend it’s not real”. Fucking…
Which proves nothing besides the what is measured is going up.
You have absolutely no clue about statistics or science. Your comment is completely embarrassing to anybody with a basic knowledge of these fields. Seriously.
I have no idea why you think posting more warming trends would contradict me.
Firstly, your graph still shows a sudden and historically unprecedented rise at the end. Secondly: your questions are way too complicated for either of us to address. That’s why we turn to the IPPC and thousands of other climatologists who do the science and statistics for us. The statistical analysis shows that it’s…
What data??
But you’re the one who just fabricated a lame excuse to ignore an entire comment and requests for evidence.
I think I was pretty clear. As I said, there are plenty of graphs that showed cooling over the past decade. You choose to believe the ones that support your belief. Most people do, myself included.
Actually the temperature’s been on a slight rise from 2004 to 2014 (as you can check for yourself from the graph). Obviously a decade is too short a timespan with something as variable as climate to establish the current trend — there are plenty of decade-long periods in the graph above with an average decline, during…
Why? How would that negate the fact that the globe is currently warming? Because that’s all I was trying to demonstrate (in contradiction to the original comment).
