At 300mph I imagine one is focused on the road a bit more than usual...I imagine he looked at the tach into last gear and not much else at that point.

I just want to come out in support of Genesis. If these had been around when I was purchasing my Q7, I would have pulled the trigger in a heartbeat. I loved my G80. It never had a problem, and it was a perfect freeway machine.

A guy in my work complex has a Yukon XL Denali with a 6" lift and aggressive off road tires. He commutes 90 miles every day and it has NEVER been off road. It currently has a touch over 170,000 miles. Can you imagine paying the fuel bill. My coworker says that he must have a tiny dick.

That said, I’m still always a bit puzzled by things like the Tremor package: it provides a lot of very capable off-roading hardware, but are people really hardcore off-roading an $80,000+ truck with a luxury interior like this?

It’s a nice-looking car - thank God they did away with that awful beak grille they used for a few years.  But for this kind of money I’d rather have something with a six-cylinder engine.  And a stick - although a good modern automatic is a better fit for this car’s target market.

Reality? The cruise was probably as safe as the BLM protests (which have not been shown to be a problem for spreading it). But the communities decided to err on the side of caution - which was their right.

I’m willing to bet that a large amount of the people that INCESSANTLY WHINE about Jalopnik needing to “stick to cars” and “keep politics out of it” probably won’t bat an eye about this event being obviously hyper-political and divisive. Even more so probably applauding that it’s even happening and be eager to attend.
