@FuturShoc: Velcro does have a couple of advantages. First its better for the environment being reuseable they make less waste. Second they put less stress on the cables.

@krodrac: Most likely a plane designed to look like a bird, you can buy them like that. or as someone suggested earlier that maybe its for training the birds.

@RLJ676-LS3 Commuter Car - for the environment: There are RC aircraft that look like birds, some are gliders but this one is powered. If you look at the wing edges as they come into camera view on the lower right you can see the feather like paint scheme.
