I had two of the 2Gal water containers with the side spouts in my emergency kit. When I moved last year I opened it up and they had both leaked and ruined anything I did not have in a ziplock bag. Thankfully I did protect the emergency electronics.

We have had red drives in a Synology in our office for at least 3 years now. The thing has been great.
