Harnessing the force while offering the audience unprompted assurances: "No…these phone books are not pre-ripped." I think these types of one-liners are the unappreciated genius of the show. I find myself hearing/discovering them only on the second viewing. In my opinion, that's a hallmark of good comedic writing.

The idea that throwing big parties, getting drunk and smoking a lot of weed are somehow inconsistent with never smoking a cigarette evidences that you have not done most, if not all, of these things—but mostly the latter.
