What’s the point of the comparison other than in the broadest terms: “these are both shows in a franchise”? Andor is like a 70s political thriller. Mando is a spaghetti western. Neither one “does” something to the other.

I love the idea of a SKYWALKER: JEDI KNIGHT show where he’s just traipsing around the galaxy after RotJ doing good deeds and helping clean up the Imperial Remnant while researching/teaching the audience what it really means to be a lone Jedi. 

Counterpoint: The Fifth Element had a prophecy which not only came true, it did it exactly as predicted. The prophecy was used more like a countdown timer instead of a narrative mislead (ironic twist/etc). That was pretty satisfying! I could do with some more playing with prophecies that we haven’t seen before.

I would be quite content If no movie or tv show ever referred to “a prophecy” ever again.

Yes would have been nice if Mando went to mandalore on his own without grogo. And give grogo some time training more with Luke Skywalker.

The problem with Luke is just that everything that would have been great needed to happen 20 to 30 years ago. And you weren’t going to get the technology nor the funding for Harrison to do it.

I have enjoyed The Mandalorian, but man Season 2 went a bit nuts with the callbacks and memberberries.

It’s a wonder he maintained his accreditation that long.
