To me, the worry that I’ll make a major mistake is far smaller than the worry that someone else will make a major mistake. Whether that’s true or not doesn’t really matter to me.
Even with most normal cars, it might be easy to try and force the wrong filter on it. It might be possible to under/over fill the oil without the benefit of having the right amount bottled up.
That would sound glorious!
