I’m not familiar with this character but holy shit, I want to be. Incredible work.

Jesus christ, you’re a miserable shite.

I should like to think so, although my poor American partner doesn’t understand half the idioms that come out my mouth.

You’d probably really enjoy Peep Show if you like creative British natter.

I think it may be a british-ism. Or perhaps a welsh-ism. IDK, my family use it a lot.

Thank god. I love Preston and I love taking him along with me but the endless radiant quests got on my tits. I wouldn’t mind if they gave decent XP but at the point I am now I think they give barely anything.

What? RE1, 2, 3 had shit loads of backtracking.

Gabriel Knight 4. I’d also fund Doublefine/Revolution to keep churning out point and clicks. The genre needs more love ;-;

FF14 is the first MMO I’ve ever gotten into and it really, truly is amazing.

Bloody good on you. I haven’t worked in a media store but I did work in a small retail/petrol store and often did the opening up and the closing down. People don’t realise how much there is to do, especially if you’re open to trade whilst trying to balance all of this stuff; if they haven’t worked in retail before

We were on FF5 anyway with the Library :D I’m sure we’ll have more references to 6 at some point, but Dragon’s Neck was pretty damn awesome.

FF14 is great in that it throws all these references in and yet doesn’t carry itself with just those.

The PSTV is an absolutely lovely little thing that you can get someone who already has a main console or whatever and you know they like the back catalog.

Yes, but on exiting I went through the door by the minefield. Was a bit of a letdown, I was expecting something mad.

There’s one mission in the game (I believe it’s a railroad one) where they make a big deal about a minefield. And yeah, it’s very hard to see all these mines against the concrete ground.

Until you open VATS and it auto-targets them all.

Word. We still have people in our FF14 FC playing on PS3 and from what I hear it’s quite a horrific, subpar experience compared to PS4 or modern PCs.

Plus all the cross-gen games that have been gimped to hell and back to work on the old ones.

I’m pretty sure the review said that you *do* have to re-unlock weapons and skills :/

This. My last Persona 3 Portable playthrough was on my kindle fire. Was absolutely fine.

I agree with you on the whole but I actually loved that convo with David. Especially if you don’t hold the truth back. I actually think he had some of the most interesting development over the whole series. It also highlighted a very real problem with how we expect ex-soldiers to just adjust back to life in the ‘real

Ok, people shitting on Klefki is really grating on me now. The pagan influence behind its design is really interesting. I’d take that over the next big over-designed legendary dragon any day.

I use diet coke to make a ‘light’ but still lovely bbq sauce, but I can’t taste the coke in the sauce itself.

It took me a looooong time to get over my body image problems (fat, big tits which lead to non-perky nips, unfortunate ugly genes from my dad’s side etc) and I’d be lying if I still don’t have some problems, but playing the field for a while and expanding my social circles led me to meet people who didn’t care.
