Bud: “I’m a genius, we’ll make one meaningless game decide world series home field advantage?
Pete Carroll should’ve called for Marshawn to kick a field goal, or a drop kick, over that pass play
Refused to use his left foot on a wide open shot in the first half
The only one I’d argue is Dakich. He grew on me a lot last year. His voice is not great, and his delivery is poor, but he actually provides smart analysis of the game. He recognizes and can explain plays well, and anticipates outcomes well
You realize you’re in the small minority of Deadspin readers that think even one of those shows is half decent? PTI sold out years ago. Most don’t watch ESPN outside of live sports
Oh, he’s entirely unlistenable. I just couldn’t resist taking a crack at him
If only our best American sportscasters followed Ireland’s, and took the mic hammered Joe Buck would potentially be tolerable.
Just look at how it took Pat Canaughton’s combine performance, rather than the fact that a 6’4” guy led his TEAM in rebounding in the ACC, and dominated Duke x2 and Kentucky’s front line, to be appreciated as an “athlete”
Every time, I would tell myself I would just go with the 7”, or I would get the 14” and eat it over two meals. B-shit, you can’t do it. I don’t eat pork, so can’t say I had an italian, but grilled chicken/turkey with some hot sauce and honey mustard and I’ll happily eat liquified Wegman’s bread for days. Why didn’t I…
How did I not know this? I almost dont want to google if there are any locations near nyc b/c i dont want to ruin why i look forward to seeing a wegmans on my travels
Anisimov is fine, but saying hell be an auto good fit at 2c? I’m not sure if I fully agree with you on that one
Subs are good, but if you like sauce on a sub (and how could you not), the 14’’ is guaranteed to fall apart. Then again, only fatasses like me get the 14”. Having gone to school in upstate New York, I can confirm it isn’t the closest thing to heaven up there, it is heaven
I hope every time he goes to an Eagles players event, the other alumni (including the 70s/80s guys, refuse to shake his hand and tell him it’s because he’s a snake. No other way around it.
You’re the man. Always wanted to say that, booze is a hell of drug
What I would give to have one tab with this man..i mean a beer
Mostly because there would be a lot
Wrong, and if you’re going to nitpick, it wasn’t until the late 60s that they were “technically” finally considered really people. Even then, they were/are still marginalized. But good try
I agree that the players are pushing the border of what’s acceptable (such as discretely knocking into the butt of a goalie’s stick to make him drop it), but at least that means there’s open ice action. I’d rather battles in front of the net than constant board play. Too much of the game is already spent in the corners
They stunk, they just didnt go public with the stink ala Houston or the 76ers
