I hope her dad paid for the wedding.
The point was cultural relevance in the minds of the listener and being able to associate a face to the person mentioned. MTM and Buddy Holly being basically girl and boy next door types with a tiny bit of edge to them.
This shit ain’t The Beatles.
He wanted more money, too. That was the real motivator. To get paid before the show ended.
Good.
Oh, I’m saving my laughs for “Rocketman” featuring a “Elton Jonn WISHES he looked like that back in the 70s”, Taron Egerton.
I’m sure all 5 of the people on this board that will actually put on clothes and pay money to a movie theatre to see this movie are grateful for the information.

The main take-away: Benioff and Weiss are hacks, who have been treating well-padded out characters from GMM’s past work (that they’ve now run out of) like paper dolls wielded by barely literate children who’ve saw an action movie once and like to play out the beats.
Thank you!
Actually it’s more “Targaryen’s be crazy”.

The thing is? If you see the whole interview (I know you have, Mr. Crosbie) the first few minutes, where Shapiro describes the current conservative thinking in America and Trump, is smart.
Shapiro started out relatively irate, which looked particularly silly in contrast to Neil’s dispassionate, vaguely bemused line of questioning. Shapiro’s general argumentative style is to talk louder and faster than anyone he’s speaking to, which didn’t really work when Neil refused to play on his level.
It’s not the impressiveness of the study, it’s the statistical inputs and quality of research that matter.
Things that make you say “Ouch”, for $1000, Alex.
On the one hand, #Kink-Shaming.

You’re trying to reason with libertarians and sociopaths on this thread.
