It is definitely interesting: even though ethically wrong, at least we will get useful data from this. Though I hope George will be kind enough to distribute the data he is collecting for free and without manipulating it.
He is the most "normal" character in the movies (not a super or even a hero), which makes him very likeable.
Also, SHIELD will probably require less special effects than a group of super teenagers, which was probably taken into account at some point.
Even in the French version of the X men animated series (the one from 1992), we had a few translations, especially Storm > Tornade and Wolverine > Le Glouton > Serval. Storm is still called Tornade, but Wolverine had the chance to lose his ridiculous translated name(s).
I also wished there would be a She Hulk/Miss Marvel/Tigra, but the story would probably had been stretched too thin by the various interaction that should have been added. But don't forget Maria Hill is also on that movie, even though she is criminally underdeveloped.
I think she was added because of the power level difference, as was Hawkeye. Even in the comics, the recurring theme of "Superhero VS Normal people" is important. Maybe Whedon wanted to make us feel the start of that new era, where being a superspy is hardly enough?
Whedon doesn't need a heavy hitter to make it a strong female character. Black Widow feels denser and more complexe than it was in Iron Man 2, where Scarlett Johansson mostly plays an ass kicking pair of boobs.
Can we have a Black Widow/Hawkeye prequel please? I've seen the movie thrice and I'd love to see what Whedon would do with the pair. The movie is like a reverse spoiler of that inexistant prequel.
I can't wait for tomorrow (advanced screening in Paris)!
@Pessimippopotamus: Except Mystic can change the appearance of her clothes as well. So no worries :D
Wait, so burgers were not already made with insect meat?
@Lite: an adventurer is me!: The fact that Harry Shum jr is a dancer might have to do with the fighting technique (at least that's my guess)
@adgeman: I liked it as well, although the second episode was not as good as the first IMO. Too many flashbacks and not enough action compared to the first one.
I invented that! Although my iteration was a bit different as I wanted the user to be able to use the smartphone a a secondary screen or a numpad so it was going on the right side.
Can I have one with an app that make it work exactly like the Iron Man helmet ? Pretty please ?
@Dan Sabato: You don't necessary need him to be British, it could be an AI with a British accent (even though that's fairly close)
