As I read it Damon isn’t putting down JLo. He’s saying that everybody categorized Affleck a certain way because he was dating JLo and that was painful to see as Affleck’s friend and somebody who really knows him. That’s more of a slam on celebrity culture than JLo.
I hope next Matt Damon tells us what he really thinks about Jennifer Garner.
Whatever, Matt. Ben enjoyed the attention and press from being in Bennifer 1.0 as much as Jennifer did. They were doing interviews together and happily talking about that relationship every chance they got. Ben shouldn’t be too upset about things considering that J-Lo got the brunt of the bad press and her career…
Ben also talked about JLo last year and the year before and the one before that one. He was a grown ass man, he did everything willingly. He’s just as “guilty” as her. And she hasn’t said much about those years unlike his camp who ALWAYS mentions her to get publicity and headlines.
