If you wanna sit on your arse the entire time you play pokemon, just buy a gameboy, dude!!

Whatever happen to knifepoint? It was so much more personal.

The optimistic part of me loves that a Clefairy was defending that gym. The jaded part of me thinks someone just did it to farm gold knowing any decent person would leave it alone up there.

If WBC keeps using Pokemon in their promotional material, would Nintendo have precedent to sue them for unauthorized use of their IP? Because that is a battle that I would love to watch go down.

Usually, there’s nothing funny about the WBC. In this case though, it’s hilarious to imagine this intern who runs their Twitter trying to explain how he knows so much about the Pokemons to these virulent racists.

True...but its when both robots start working out backroom deals that we need to start worrying.

“This app, game, or service had a soft launch in New Zealand and it doesn’t come to the US for a month! What the hell! $COMPANY is terrible and shitty!”

probably trying to limit the traffic (people that dont use apps) until they get the service running how they would like... at least thats what makes sense to me

Get off of Amazon and stay off, if you’re so disappointed by their service. Amazon provides plenty of value for that $99 annual membership.

I guess they could go to a store and purchase an Amazon gift card with cash, then use it on the site to pay for stuff.

But you can only get prime if you have a bank or a credit card.Prime could save them money but they have no way to access it.

Careful there Amazon.
I like prime, when it works. I’ve signed up a few times and left you one-less time when you screwed up massively and you gave me a refund on my subscription.
I’ve send you complaints over the piss-poor quality of your videos on non-fire android devices - and your response was to “buy a fire”

The point of my statement is that people should not get fat for sole purposes of getting one seat for themselves.

I get it, but ... in the end that is a fault of the consumer. "De Facto Supplier" != monopoly. I'm not saying Amazon isn't doing something wrong, but to me they're screwing themselves (as locilocisu notes below) far more than the consumer. Amazon is an Internet store. You don't have to go far to find an

I think the thing that you're missing there is that Amazon is the de facto seller of books. The most determined reader will go find it elsewhere, but plenty of people with just a casual interest are getting shoved away from a thing they want, and as Amazon grows the potential for getting screwed gets bigger.

You mean to tell me that a for-profit business doesn't operate with my best interest in mind?
