Carroll sounds absolutely believable in both the context of her situation, the fallout, and the warnings folks gave her. I would not doubt her in the least, and I would carry that flag.

I’d argue the opposite. He knows very much what he can and cannot say. He knows what Comey did when he shot the fucking gun long before appropriate and ran his mouth, imploding trust in the FBI, the CIA and had gotten us into this mess (partially) through Comey’s choices.

I don’t think that white nationalist is a sanitized term. If anything, it is a much more specific and bizarre philosophy whereas white supremacy is a very old and very general philosophy. And all white nationalists are white supremacists in any case.

White nationalists have a very specific set of beliefs (for instance, that Jews are promoting immigration and interracial relationships to dilute the “white race” for their own interests) whereas white supremacists can include just about anyone who believes that white…

That’s the regular projection imperialist colonizers do.

To people like this, the entire globe is the “white” homeland.

When you inherit a cultural legacy of taking other people’s lands at gunpoint, I suppose you’re liable to fear it’ll happen to you one day. It’s a cruel irony that they’re the only mother fuckers doing it, while they suspect everyone else of the same crime.

Before I can even get to the aboriginal part of the equation I am struck by the fact that he carried this horrific act out in another country. He was literally a citizen of one country who committed a crime in another. Someone correct me if I am wrong but isn’t there growing tension between Australia and New Zealand…

What puts even an extra layer of irony on top of that is that he’s not only Australian, but he’s of “Scottish, Irish, and English stock”. Even if he was doing this in Australia, he’s still not in his “own land”. Fuck this guy every way imaginable.
