I love this. I’m three seasons in on Discovery and just can’t get into it, but I’m over the moon about SNW and this just makes it better.

Plot twist, Dominar Rygel XVI comes out of the sphere.

This show. Starship Troopers. Fight Club. The Punisher.

I know the song itself is probably overused and overexposed now, but this opening scene is AMAZING.

(BIG SPOILERS for Person of Interest, if anyone still cares this long after broadcast... and yes, it’s sci-fi dammit!)

Missing ‘Welcome to the Machine’ in Person of Interest. Absolutely one of the most fitting needle drops for a story.

The Northman looks intriguing - until you see Nicole Kidman is in it, and the interest just drains away.  I have never understood her appeal - she is bone-dry dull in every role.  

Don’t forget about the time Dr. Who watched the moon hatch like an egg.

Yeah, it’s amazingly evergreen!

Late to the party but I didnt see this anywhere here...

It may be because I have heard it so many times, but it is soothing, cheesy, almost relaxing and so Soap Opera-y. I never skip it.

Because no one seems to have brought it up yet: Farscape. Perfectly set the mood for the show. Season 3 variant is the best one:

I loved The Expanse’s opening and how it frequently changed to match the story.  My favorite little detail was how the initial image of Mars changed from two moons to a moon and a trail of rubble after the UN strike.
