About time marine guys get to deal with the same after-treatment issues us land guys have to
That says nothing about them being produced on the same assembly line and only covers th DD13.
Last I heard, the DD and Mercedes OM were made at completely different plants. And while looking very similar, they also have specific parts to each other so I don’t buy any of that
“And Freightliner is one of the better brands out there.”
I’ve seen thousands of worm gear hose clamps leak in the 10 years I’ve worked on semis. I’ve seen maybe 7 or 8 of the plastic ones leak.
I live in WI and have been working on trucks for 10 years, including Freightliner and International-both who are big on the heat shrink hose clamps. I can probably count on one hand how many of them I’ve see break.
Hook up 4 950CCa batteries together and then you can decide wether or not you want to get shocked by them

And I can agree with you that horsepower certainly isn’t everything, especially in these. I thought the original turbo…
Not really. Can Am came out with the X3, which is a bat shit crazy UTV thats basically a 154HP desert racing buggy. A few days later, Polaris came out with their new RZR XP turbo that has 168HP. So no, Can Am is not out shining Polaris in any way. And I say this as someone who races a Can Am and likes them over…
With a V8
Heavy duty trucks used them for a long time. The term we use is JWAC-jacket water after cooler. CAT ACERT engines used a small one in addition to a normal charge air cooler and International Maxxforce engines still use two of them
When you get an engineering degree, is it mandatory that you announce you’re an engineer whenever a situation arises? Seems that way
