Masterlock is from WI
Amen. Stop trying to make Formula E a thing.
They’re garbage because they don’t want to join your club?
Shits gotta get fixed and everybody needs to eat
Nope. Sorry. This is a far better swap. That’s a Cummins N14
Why put that kind of effort into something that’s ultimately not going to amount to anything
XMR’s come factory with relocated radiators and snorkel intakes
It’s a Range Rooney. Nobody buys them to go off road
A DPi car has to be way cheaper to build than the current hybrids. So I’d think the privateers could be pretty competitive with that spec. Sure theres some OEMs involved with the DPi’s, but they’re not spending anywhere near what Porsche and Toyota are on the current cars. So with a simpler car and more power, I think…
Give the DPi cars another 200hp and call them the new LMP1. DPi is what that class should be. Aero and basic engines that make a lot of power. The hybrid cars were awesome for the tech and the incredible speed they brought with it, but super complex hybrid cars that cost eleventy billion dollars are what got us to…
The Miata people aren’t on this list and they should be number 1
The only people getting offended by the name of this company seem to just be white people trying to prove how woke they are.
I really don’t know a whole lot about underground mining equipment but I’d have to think that whatever all electrical equipment that they’re using almost have to be cord powered by some massive generator or straight from the grid
This article talked about a fully electric truck. Which is why I said electric truck. If they can’t make a truck last more than 100 miles on charge with a class 7, then I doubt a dozen or crane, which has a much larger duty cycle than an over the road truck, is anywhere close to being devoloped.
Does the D7e have a Diesel engine or is it all electric? That’s rhetorical. It’s a hybrid. When they introduce a fully electric dozen, then the point you’re trying to make will be valid. A hybrid vehicle and a fully electric vehicle are different. Nowhere did I say that hybrids are not in construction equipment .
Where did I say hybrid?
Hybrids and fully electric vehicles are two completely different things. This article is talking about a fully electric truck, as was I
CAT got out of on highway engines in 09. They tried with their own half-assed truck a few years later and then that failed too. CAT isn’t going to do anything with electric trucks. No place for it in earth moving equipment, so they won’t pursue it
