Barcelona has had the pleasure of having the main core of the Spanish National Team that won a World Cup and 2 Euro Cups. Messi was fortunate to piggy back off that success with the midfield players available at Barcelona. Ronaldo didn’t have that same advantage, but yet he has managed to be better.
